LETTER TO
THE EDITOR
Recently I have placed in a situation with a group of ladies who call themselves Christians.  I don’t say that to be sarcastic or to imply that they
‘are not’ Christians.  I am only stating the fact that they actually do walk around stating “I am a Christian” all the time. It is my belief that one
should not have to go around telling people that they are Christians, because people should know that by the way you act, how you treat them
and from your everyday behavior.  It’s the same thing with being intelligent or pretty.  You shouldn’t have to tell people you are intelligent or
pretty, because it should be obvious.  If you have to tell them, then you might not be what you think you are.  Through a series of events, and by
that I mean daily disagreements, it has become painfully obvious to me that I do not share the same views as my counterparts.  Yet, I am a
Christian also.  So, how can that be?
Before I continue allow me to point out that God put me in this situation for a reason.  A very good reason.  Despite the fact that I have been
tested, over and over again, I believe that I am also supposed to learn alot about myself and others.  And trust me… I have, which brings me
to my point.
Stop putting my GOD into Your box.
If, God is great and if God is good, wouldn’t he be and do much more than you ever thought he could?  Wouldn’t he do things that span far
beyond your imagination, and make good things out of bad things, or have a blessing be produced from something that was intended to be a
curse?  If, God is great he wouldn’t do things the same way every time nor would he expect for billions of people, who he made as individuals,
to conform to the same way of living, thinking or being.  Would he?
I’ll give you an example.  Hear me out.
Let’s say a lady, we’ll call her Jane.  Let’s say Jane is in the adult entertainment business.  She is a stripper.  Jane gets saved, loves God,
becomes a Christian and now she wants to help other strippers do the same.  So, she starts a foundation, goes to strip clubs to talk to other
strippers, writes books...etc.  Jane is now known worldwide and has helped to save millions of strippers all over the world.  Jane would not
have been able to reach other strippers and do God’s work in their lives if she had not herself been a stripper.  Therefore, Jane being a
stripper was a part of God’s plan.  God works in mysterious ways.  One who has not sinned cannot save the sinner.  Someone who has not
been a stripper before will not be able to reach out to other strippers.  God has to send someone who can talk to them and knows their
struggle.
You don’t have to agree with me.  I am only one woman and this is my opinion.  But, if you don’t agree with me I want you to take a long hard
look at yourself and ask “Have I been putting God in a box?”  I think many people put God in a box, which is why he is unable to do the great
things in their lives that he has planned.  You have to trust God and step out on faith.  You may not see how it will work out in the end, but just
because you don’t see it, doesn’t mean God can’t do it.  Don’t judge others, because you never know how God is going to use them. Think
outside of the box.

but there is still a strong friendship between the two talented individuals.
Now in engaged to Gabriel Cannon who she met shortly after the filming of the show on new years, she has different plans
romantically for the future.
“It was like love at first sight,” Leon said describing the first time they caught each other’s eye.
In an interview from MediaTakout, Leon described her fiancé as strong, and responsible during the recent pregnancy
rumor.
“At first, I really did think I was pregnant.  It was one of those things I tried to keep to myself and it got out.”
Although being CEO of four companies has held her back from planning her wedding in full effect, Cannon will hopefully
remain strong to stand by her side throughout the rest of her career as a model and producer.
There’s more to Monica Leon than just “Danger” from For the Love of Ray J.  She’s a strong, successful young
businesswoman who will go extremely far.  Soon to be featured on the cover of Black Men Magazine, there’s much more for
Leon’s ambitious future.
FROM RAY J TO GABRIEL
Dan·ger  (dān'jər) adj. – being able to or likely to cause harm.
Dan·ger  (dān'jər) n. – Vh1’s For the Love of Ray J’s reality star.
There’s more to Monica Leon than what meets the eye, but when
Ray J met her eyes that’s when Leon entitled her new alias, Danger.
“It stands for courage,” Leon said describing one of her eight tattoos.
The large tattoo of a Tiger that prowls upon her right eye gave an
impression on Ray J that she had a hazardous side. Included with her
risky personality is a smart, beautiful mind.
Leon, 22, is a talented artist as learned in Episode 6.  But art is not
her only passion.  She is also CEO of four entertainment production
companies and admits that the show some what helped her with her
exposure. “I did benefit [from the show].  More people know who you
are.  I was surprised how many fans I had and how many people
recognized who I was.” The show seemed more of a publicity stunt
but not for Ray J.  Almost every contestant had an ulterior motive
besides just finding Ray J’s love.
“No one would watch the show if it was just Ray.  We made the show
interesting, it wouldn’t be fair if we didn’t benefit from it,” Leon said with
a laugh.  Having something positive to say about the majority of each
and every girl, there was no possible way to get an ounce of a compliment
about Danielle “Unique” Pastorino.  “I don’t acknowledge her presence.
She was horrible.  The show could have done more to show how she truly
was.”  Pastorino was one of her biggest competitors, and being down to
the last three girls, there was bound to be more drama in the final
episodes. Unfortunately things didn’t work for Ray J and Leon,
