Her name is DOLL and this is her HOUSE
A look inside the life of VH1 reality star, Jacqueline DaFonseca
By Megan Bolton

With VH1’s Real and Chance publicly seeking love for a second round, they
have brought on board an entirely new cast of girls who bring the sexual insanity
to prime-time television, but all aren’t as wild and out of control as some of the
women make it appear. Some of the young ladies bring standards, culture, and
sex appeal to the house while still remaining a Doll!

Jacqueline DaFonseca, the beautiful Cape Verdean or African and Portuguese
mix nicknamed Doll, became a contestant on season 2 of VH1's Real Chance
of Love to win one of the two sibling bachelors' hearts only a week after
graduating from Fitchburg State as a Criminal Justice major. Not only educated,
she also models allowing her to have experience in the spotlight and in front of
cameras which ultimately encouraged a friend to push her into trying out for the
show. From what Doll admits, she was immediately liked by  the producers due
to her beautiful and exotic appearance. After two weeks and two auditions, she
had made it to L.A. embarking on her future as a newly found reality star and
hopefully finding love in the process.

Seeing herself on television every Monday night, she says "wows" her. “I’m just
so happy that it is really me on TV ... everyone that knows me is like, ‘That’s
exactly how you are.’” Growing up with four brothers, Doll definitely knows how
to hold her own. She says that although she felt the need to be closed off at first
because of the new and crazy environment, she never lost control of herself
throughout all of the drama. “It took me at least a week to get used to the whole
situation. I was thinking, I’m in this house; these girls are all nuts … I’m going to
have to do something crazy to be noticed and I didn’t really want to do that, but
luckily I didn’t have to do anything crazy. The girls actually eliminate themselves
because they were. The girls that are really themselves always last the longest,”
suggests Doll. Although VH1 stepped it up a notch as far as this season's cast
in the classiness and appearance department, they made sure to not neglect
the action that the ladies bring to the show … even Real and Chance seem to
have made better decisions in assisting the producers in picking women who
appear to be more compatible with them.
